Privacy and contact details

What the form sends

The form sends your name, at least one contact you choose and your message: the place concerned, the change and the page that shows it. Nothing more is asked.

Storage and use

Messages are kept by a form service and read together at the next revision of the directory. They are used only to check and correct cards and, if you ask, to answer you. They are never sold, passed on or used for mailings.

Counting visits

Visits are counted by a small script served from this site’s own domain. It sets no cookie, does not follow you to other sites and keeps no address that identifies you; it notes the page, the site you came from and, when you follow a link to a place, that link.

No outside content

Nothing on these pages comes from another server: no adverts, no share buttons, no third-party trackers, no web fonts and no map tiles. The map button opens openstreetmap.org only once you press it.

Erasing a message

To have an earlier message erased, write again through the form with the same name and contact and say which message you mean. It is removed at the next revision.
